"War of the worlds" music: Ella Fitzgerald - They Can't Take That Away From Me
mood: ok

went to watch war of the worlds with Kenji ;D and holy crap, that was such a let-down. i mean, sure, from the synopsis, i wasnt supposed to expect much. but gawd, the ending was just....awful, cheesy, vomit-inducing. i hate how spielberg movies are basically obligatory to watch like hitchcock movies; you never know when 2 hours of your life will be stolen from you it's all right, it's not spielberg's fault. blame h.g. wells. i really hope the book isnt as much of a disappointment.

badminton thursdays, alas, have returned. sort of. josie and i attempted to play today, to sort of warm up our game. unfortunately, unexpected circumstances hindered us from fully accomplishing our goal. hehe, til next week then! XD

actually, we got hungry and gave in to KFC. i havent been there for like, 2 years, and who do i run into? frank wu! my artistic buddy, frankie! XD i hope to see his magnificent interpretation of the Mona Lisa. it's a huge piece he's been working on for ages, while i have been struggling away with Chinese landscapes. gawd. i really suck at xie-yi. maybe i should just stick with my western art. >.< i feel like i'm shaming the Chinese art community.
