work on friday was incredibly hilarious because the music was totally bizarre. at one point in the night, "titles" from chariots of fire was played, lol. for those of you who dont know, that's the song currently used by nike in their shoe commercial, the one with the guy running on the beach with a crowd running along with him. XD

saturday, worked at the Asian Art Museum Store in the morning. i got to see the completed sand mandala in samsung hall. it was such a work of art. the destruction ceremony was today (sunday afternoon), but i couldnt go see it. how unfortunate! i must say though, the Tibetan exhibit has completely brightened my interest in Tibet. i'm definitely gonna read some books regarding that subject this summer. stuart picked me up from work last night, and we headed off to adam's bonfire at the beach. but when we got there, the bonfire had already ended because a) they were out of firewood; and b) adam and some of the guys got caught by the cops with fireworks and alcohol. ;P supposedly adam shot up several firecrackers into the air and the police (obviously) saw them from the parking lot. luckily they only got off with a warning. as for the alcohol, no one was drinking that night, but they were using the booze to light the bonfire, lol. and i though gasoline was cheaper? so yes, it was only 10:30, and there we were, bonfire-less. so stuart and i ended up going to naan 'n curry to pick up some garlic naan and chicken tikka masala for him, and ultimately ended up at his friend's (nate) apartment in the friggin presidio. gawd, that area is creepy at night. his roommates were very nice and hospitable, though high, lol. we ended up just watching tv all night, and i got home around 3, after watching R. Kelly's new music video/pseudo soap opera, lol. and somehow, i got away with that, haha.

today (sunday), i went to safeway after my viola lesson to pick up some milk when i thought i saw chantillys on sale! turns out, the sign was "buy 1 get 1 for 2.99" not "buy 1 get 1 free." damit. they fooled me! either that or i'm totally dyslexic. >.< but gawd, those cookies are soooo good. raspberry jam on sugar cookies....mmm.....screw milanos, i'll take chantillys any day. ;P in the afternoon, after reconfiguring my laptop/internet connection crap, i went to work. definitely more easygoing than last sunday, stayed an hour later than i was supposed to, and got a ride home from one of the drivers, daniel. ;D the people there are so friggin awesome.

whoa! short week ahead i'm really not ready for the summer to fly by.
