took kenji to the embarcadero tonight to watch the beat that my heart skipped directed by Jacques Audiard. the movie was all right, not too bad, but not amazing. i'd give it 4 stars out of 5. i think the film didnt develop the theme enough, especially toward the end. but it was still a good indie film to see. now i have a little list of indie films that i must see by the end of this summer, hehe.

the embarcadero is sooooo nice at night. not to mention the perfect weather we had tonight, haha. the air was still and almost warm. it was a perfect night to go out on the town, but i realized it was a monday night, so there's not much to do. then again, that mightve been perfect, considering how i would rather be taking a stroll under this evening sky.
