September16,2005"rainy days" music: Coldplay - A Message
mood: tired, but fine.
another week of class over with. at least this week went by quicker than last week. last week just wouldnt end! even so, at least we had better weather last week. hurricane ophelia is spreading out to us and we're stuck in drizzly WARM rain for this weekend.
it's so gross, the nuisance of rainy weather while it's 70ºF. you're always wet and sticky from the humidity. >.< but nevertheless, i love the pitter patter of the raindrops outside my dorm. there's just something incredibly soothing about it. and it's perfect weather for Simon and Garfunkel. ![]()
i've basically been catching up and falling behind in all of my classes. it's an endless cycle, just like how it was at lowell. you spend time for one class, you lose time for another. sacrifices must be made. and as of right now, i think i'm sacrificing chinese and marine bio for my other 3 academic classes. >.< oh btw, did i mention that i'm officially enrolled in seven classes this semester? apparently, chamber music AND my private viola lessons count as two separate half-credit courses. so as my facebook shows, here is my official list:
* Biology 64. Coastal Marine Life
* Chinese 101. Elementary Chinese
* Classics 101. Elementary Greek
* Classics 203. Intermediate Latin for Reading
* Government and Legal Studies 111. Korean War Seminar
* Music 279. Chamber Music
* Music 285. Individual Studies - Viola
i love how i can get away with crap here at bowdoin. ah, the beauty of having a liberal arts education. ;D and if i keep it at this rate, i can get junior-standing by the end of this school year. effin awesome! XD
super snack thursday! FINALLY thorne opened its doors for super snack. i ate soooo much last night, including nachos (healthy red and blue chips!), honeydew, pineapple, cinnamon toast crunch and golden grahams, and less not forget the extra glass of milk and 2 cups of coffee (5 in one day!). definitely got a bit hyper and with my high energy, had my nightly talk with evan on the phone and possibly freaked him out (again!). but omg, we discovered the coolest comic! F-Minus! CHECK IT OUT!
oh yeh, i grabbed a snickers piece from the library yesterday afternoon after working for two hours and i must say, this is the COOLEST candy wrapper ever!
it glows in the dark and gives you the answer too! wowee! XD
