my day started off rather badly today when i rolled out of bed ten minutes before class and scrambled there only to find that everyone else was still on their way to class. had my usual tuesday-thursday breakfast with christian, but my french toast was icky. rushed back to coleman so i could shower before running off to my korean war seminar, only to find myself five minutes late, and doomed to get back my first graded paper in that class. i'm absolutely freaking out about school now because i'm slowly falling behind more each day. languages are time-consuming, but it's discouraging that i must sacrifice classes for other classes. in other words, i cant seem to get the hang of the jack-of-all-trades thing down with my courses. oy vey....

in the afternoon, the storm hit us rather hard. the winds hurled through our campus like a hurricane, but luckily, i was inside my dorm watching the pouring rain from behind the window. went to dinner with my floormates and as we walked out of the dining hall, i looked up and saw a rainbow against the pink sky. i think i'm slowly beginning to see the beauty of maine.
