"flowers and kettlecorn"
music: The Fold - Backseat Drivers
mood: happy

the sun is still shining, regardless of the predicted rainshowers this afternoon. after making some important phonecalls, i went to the UN Plaza down at civic center for the farmer's market to look for pretty flowers and fresh kettlecorn. i was slightly disappointed by the selection of flowers because i thought there would be more variety. i ended up buying bouquets of daisies and hand-selected some beautiful african daisies. i love buying flowers, especially now since spring is rapidly approaching. i then waited in line and bought a PHat bag of kettlecorn, the crazy value size that's like, a yard long. shit, evan better appreciate that bag, lol. (even though i emptied out almost half because obviously i'm not THAT generous.)

these past few days have been awesome. met up with whitney for brunch on saturday, and we had uberly nutritious, organic, vegan meals at cafe gratitude. whitney was bold, i was succulent, and we were both abundant. after a long happy meal with whitney, evan picked me up and we went to pollyann's for some delicious star wars ice cream (i dont care, the blue ice cream is still vanilla flavored) and eggettes next door. after a wonderful afternoon with him, evan dropped me off at home so i could eat dinner with the folks before heading back out with whitney and wolf. we drove around and ended up at the Canvas for a musical performance. the band was an infusion of rap and jazz, which turned out to be fantastic.

sunday, slow day because my dad was just indecisive. went out with evan again for a bit, then after dinner at home, he picked me up again so we could go watch family guy and carlos mencia while doing our homework. the past couple of days have been spent relaxing, running errands (like getting my erhu fixed in c-town at clarion), and having study parties with evan, haha. yesterday was ridiculous because during our 3 hour coffeedate at the Canvas, whitney and i were enjoying the sunny blue skies. but in the afternoon, around 4, evan and i were hit by hail while we were trying to study at starbuck's. (okey, so we werent actually hit, but everyone outside was, haha.) crazy weather! but it's sunny today again, so i'm gonna enjoy it before the storm clouds roll in for the evening.
