q: how many butterflies have you seen in maine?
a: i saw one today.
the green grass is withering away, the pompoms and chrysanthemums will be gone soon too. it's strange to think that back home, everything is bright and green as ever. perhaps the snowfall will change my mood here, and i will feel better about the landscape. but until then, i suppose i should embrace the brisk autumnal weather.
