February10,2008"new year's resolutions never made it"
where did the time go? it's been almost two months since i last wrote and well, it's because there hasn't been much to say since i've been back in the states. my winter break was the usual, filled with coffee shops, assorted asian foods, and evan. a couple of friends from Bowdoin came and visited all the way from the east coast, and after that, it was back to the depressing reality of school in maine.
actually, Bowdoin has seemed surprisingly decent since i've been back. although the weather is quite uncomfortable, at least the snowfall has been a nice change of scene. my apartment is an upgrade from last year since it had been renovated over the summer, so we have a new bathroom and kitchen cabinets with freshly painted walls. i'm also not isolated off campus like last year, and everything is reasonably close. of course, ditching class and work is always tempting during the freezing mornings, but i've been persistent and kept up with all my work...thusfar. hopefully with just four classes (as opposed to 5) and weekend nights off (for the first time ever), my semester will be fabulous and with minimized stress. so far, i'm optimistic. but things can change fairly quickly around midterms.
